    Description


    American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel assignment history for a night shift position in New Mexico.

    Details

    MRI department within an acute care hospital setting
    10-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Tuesday through Friday
    Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required
    Epic EMR used on-site; training available for those without prior Epic experience
    Requirements

    ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
    BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross required
    New Mexico state MRI license required if applicable
    Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required
    At least one prior 13-week travel assignment required
    High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
    Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong teamwork and flexibility
    Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Additional Information

    Responsibilities include instructing patients on MRI procedures, preparing and positioning patients, selecting imaging techniques, and calibrating equipment
    Obtains images, produces film records, transfers data from workstation, and inspects exams for quality and completeness
    Performs quality assurance on MRI equipment and laser camera, and maintains clinical supplies inventory
    Must adhere to facility policies, safety standards, HIPAA, and compliance regulations
    Former permanent staff of this facility must wait one year before being considered as a traveler

    American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
