- Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and screenings, including administering standardized tests and gathering relevant client information.
- Implement therapy activities and exercises under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, following established treatment plans and goals.
- Provide support to clients during therapy sessions to ensure their comfort, safety, and engagement, including assisting with equipment setup and providing encouragement.
- Document client progress and treatment interventions accurately and comprehensively, maintaining organized records in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including Speech Language Pathologists, educators, and caregivers, to support client goals and promote optimal outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders, Speech Language Pathology, or related field.
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Indiana.
- Prior experience working with individuals with communication disorders preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, caregivers, and team members.
