- Build and test mechanical sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and systems
- Build, test, and configure PC systems
- Configure system hardware, software, and firmware to meet customer needs
- Train and lead an assembly team as necessary
- Troubleshoot problems and devise innovative and business-conscious solutions
- Identify opportunities for improvement, and implement the same when appropriate
- Maintain a clean and well organized production area
- Maintain inventory and inventory control
- Create, maintain, and follow documentation and procedures
- Assist with shipping and receiving
- Complete duties with a high degree of dedication to safety and environmental stewardship
- Education: Highschool or Equivalent; Associates/Technical Degree (preferred)
- Professional Experience: Technical Assembly or Similar – 5+ Years (preferred)
- Experience using hand and power tools, and light machinery (preferred)
- PC networking experience (preferred)
- Proficient with inventory control systems
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Dependable
- Interest and aptitude for technology
- High degree of business acumen
- Capable of working independently to a production schedule
- Lifting - Must be able to frequently move and lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Grasping - Must be able to pick up objects with fingers
- Reaching - Must be able to regularly use hands and arms to reach for objects.
- Standing or Sitting - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.
- Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions
- Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color
- Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts/part containers.
