- Deploy machine learning models and establish automated data pipelines between cloud and on-premise environments
- Design and implement integration and unit tests to ensure system reliability and performance
- Continuous integration and continuous delivery of production code
- Develop code and system-level documentation
- Work with the broader technical team to scope engineering milestones, provide updates, and communicate challenges
- Manage and monitor machine learning systems deployed to multiple customers
- Develop new data pipelines with automated refresh schedules
- Bachelor of Science in computer science or related quantitative field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years of experience as a lead software engineer on production-grade systems
- 3+ years of experience working on collaborative software project using GitHub and CI/CD tools to ship production code
- 2+ years of demonstrated technical leadership
- 2+ years of experience with cloud environments and cloud-based batch model deployments using Python in at least one of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
- MS or PhD in computer science or related quantitative field
- 2+ years of experience doing ML Ops, doing model monitoring, dirft detection, and event-based model retraining
- Solid technical communication skills
- Extensive experience with Databricks, AzureML, and Snowflake

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
