Position Overview:
Seeking an IT Director with 10+ years of relevant information systems experience.
The IT Director will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of our portfolio's information technology solutions.
IT Director will oversee the IT group and help create holistic technology strategies aligned with business objectives. He or she will lead transformative technology initiatives across our portfolio companies. An ideal candidate will lead a team dedicated to ensuring seamless integration of technology with business processes.Responsibilities:
Lead company IT strategy & policy design, streamlining information technology and database processes, and implementing initiatives across all portfolio company platforms.
Drive program management, including vendor management and budget oversight, while prioritizing and monitoring initiative status.Collaborate with staff to understand business needs, identify vulnerabilities, and optimize productivity and efficiency through innovative technology solutions.
Maintain and enhance the Application Portfolio and Technology Services, ensuring value addition and risk management.
Provide guidance and mentorship to exceed service delivery expectations with helpdesk assistance and implement training programs for digital safety (avoiding hacking, viruses, data integrity, etc.) to firm employees and portfolio companiesMaintain inventory of all IT equipment and purchase IT equipment and software.
Establish and uphold standards for IT infrastructure efficiency, security, and efficacy.Work with 3rd party IT services vendor and oversee system and network security, facilitating audits or investigations as necessary.
Qualifications:10+ years of professional experience specializing in information systems and oversight of IT strategy and personnel.
Proficiency in analytical reporting tools.
Experience working for and / or with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or related transaction / merger integration experience.
Deep functional expertise in one of more of the following areas:
Business / IT transformation program / project management (e.g., ERP)IT operationsSolution architectureEnterprise architecture and infrastructureIT assessment and strategy developmentIT performance improvement and cost reductionDemonstrated track record working with business leaders (Managers and above) as well as private equity deal staff.
Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis.What we Offer:
