    Duties
    As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist at the NH some of your typical work assignments may include:

    Serves as the SME and technical authority on human resources management work in the area of Outreach Talent and Acquisition.

    Responsible for the oversight of this program to ensure program success and to provide complex interpretation and counsel to employees, managers/supervisors and agency leadership.

    Serves as the advisor and SME on the effectiveness of the Agency's outreach recruitment, and employee retention programs.
    Compiles, analyzes, and develops reports on the recruitment and outreach activities.

    Develops outreach communication materials and provide briefings and technical assistance on hiring authorities to managers, supervisors, applicants, and other groups.

    Incumbent provides broad administrative policy direction as it relates to overall accomplishment of responsible programs. Incumbent independently plans, schedules, coordinates, and carries out programs.

    You may qualify at the NH-04 if you fulfill the following qualifications:
    One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service:

    Experience directing a program that performs human resources management work in the area of Talent Outreach Recruitment & Acquisition; Experience providing authoritative information, analysis, evaluation, and recommendations on policies and procedures affecting major areas of the learning and talent development programs; Experience developing outreach communication materials and providing briefings and technical assistance on hiring authorities to Senior Leaders, managers, and supervisors; and Experience developing and implementing hiring initiatives and recruitment strategies to aid in attracting, hiring, and retaining applicants to support diversifying the workforce.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

    Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

    You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    2) NH-04Salary range of $139,395 - $191,900 for Fort Belvoir, VA (includes 33.26% locality) unless regulatory or statutory rules prevail.

    3) NH-04 Salary range of $139,395 - $191,900 for Dahlgren, VA (includes 33.26% locality) unless regulatory or statutory rules prevail.

    4) NH-04 Salary range of $125,242 - $191,508 for Schiever AFB, CO (includes 33.26% locality) unless regulatory or statutory rules prevail
