Job Summary
Performs advanced production activities on the press brake machine.
- Reviews blueprints, work orders, tooling instructions and other written specifications
- Makes templates and uses measuring instruments and hand tools to ensure proper clearances, dimensions and specified tolerances for work pieces
- Troubleshoots machine or equipment problem to determine cause
- Examines finished work pieces for conformance to quality standards
- Copies all information such as number of work pieces processed tested machine readings dates times of product production in log book records information stack bands material shipment marks identification material/work pieces before processing marks material after processing stores material additional processing shipping completes paperwork/documentation job order
