    Position Summary


    Responsible for the overall financial reporting process , directs the financial policies and enforcement the Standard Operating Procedures relative to the Accounting Department.

    Directs the operational functions of the Accounting Department. Designs and coordinates a wide variety of accounting and statistical data for financial reporting purposes. You will be supervising the Controller, Materials Manager, and Financial Analyst.


    Major Responsibilities:
    Coordinate monthly financial statements, annual financial reports, audit activities, and other information reports and requests
    Establish and maintain that the Accounting Department complies with internal controls, standard operating procedures and regulations.

    Provide direction and assistance regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures, implementation of new practices and procedures, and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.

    Oversee the return on investment for projects and their expenditures.

    Oversee the preparation of daily revenue and other financial reports and their comparison against budget and forecast projections and previous years' results.

    Coordinate with outside CPA firm and participates in the annual audit plan.


    Requirements:
    Knowledge of casino and resort operations.
    Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management.
    Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources.
    Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting applications.
    Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections
    Ability to identify and secure alternative funding/revenue sources.
    A proven record of commitment and professionalism in meeting the challenges and pressures of a 24 hour, 7-day operation

    Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience


    Required:
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college or university.


    Eight (8) years' experience in an accounting, finance or related field including five (5) years in a Controller, Director or equivalent capacity within a casino or resort accounting department.


    Preferred:
    CPA license.

    Licensing Status

    Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.


    Pay Details:
    $100,000.00 to $126,000.00 per year
