We are looking for a highly organized and adaptable Transportation Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for keeping our operations flowing smoothly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be a master multitasker with the ability to significantly influence the pace of operations, either accelerating or decelerating activities based on real-time needs and shipment schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, manage, and adjust daily operations based on shipment arrivals and operational demands.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively across departments to ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain order during fluctuating workloads.
• Make real-time decisions that affect the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
• Prepare and adjust schedules daily; communicate next day's schedules to staff by noon.
• Ensure all operational activities adhere to legal standards and internal policies.
• Report on operational progress, challenges, and resource needs to management.

Requirements:

• Proven ability in a role requiring significant multitasking and fast-paced decision making.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of flexibility and the ability to work hours that vary greatly (from 6 to 15 hours a day), depending on operational needs.
• Ability to respond effectively under pressure and adjust to frequently changing requirements.
• Experience in logistics, operations, or a related field is preferred.
