    TITLE: Mental Health & Wellness Coordinator

    DEPARTMENT: Wellness and Member Support

    REPORTS TO: Associate Executive Director

    PAY RATE: $25/Hour

    HOURS: Part-time, up to 25 hours/week

    SCHEDULE: 5 Days a week - 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm; Must be available up to 1 evening per month for staff training

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Under the guidance of the Associate Executive Director, the Mental Health & Wellness Coordinator leads the implementation of Trauma-Informed Practices aligning with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) standards. The Coordinator is central in ensuring that these practices meet established guidelines and are effectively integrated into organizational operations through the TI Network.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supervision & Program Quality: Oversee the quality and implementation of mental health programs, ensuring they adhere to BGCA standards.
    • Case Management: Manage and oversee the collection of formal and informal assessments, including observations of youth behavior, analyzing data on progress and outcomes, and maintaining detailed documentation.
    • Staff Training: Conduct regular training sessions for staff, updating them on the latest mental health and wellness best practices.
    • Community Engagement: Work with Mental Health & Wellness Specialists to liaise with schools and external agencies, advocating for services and managing documentation related to IEP/504 Plans and Wellness Team observations.
    • Administrative Oversight: Manage needs assessments and oversee documentation processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with HIPAA and other legal standards.

    REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple locations.
    • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in conducting training and facilitating meetings.
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
    • Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing environments.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
    • Experience in implementing trauma-informed care and managing mental health programs.
