Essential Functions
- Manage all legal issues relating Company corporate real estate transactions including leading managing outside counsel LIHTC closings acquisitions dispositions refinances Protect interests Companies managing risk liability financial exposure Provide legal counsel issues arising actual anticipated lawsuits Anticipate guard against legal risks facing company Conduct coordinate research variety legal issues Draft review edit reports opinions correspondence articles documents Draft administer complex vendor client employment contracts Investigate evaluate implications impact compliance issues recommend operational changes alternative policies procedures Receive investigate inquiries Companies executives matters taxes employment contracts insurance risk licensing organization policy Draft negotiate binding contractual agreements between Companies third parties as needed Manage litigation filed against Companies coordination oversight outside counsel applicable insurance carriers Serve resource President Principals companies structure governance Select engage direct activities outside counsel retained represent Companies respect corporate real estate transactions respect litigation potential litigation Assist direction work provide coaching mentoring professional development where applicable Maintain responsibility pertinent budgetary strategic planning matters assigned areas partnership internal managers Evaluate agency requirements ensure compliance procedures properties Partner Director Compliance build strong collaborative relationships Operations cross-functional departments Lead development implementation policies processes state federal regulatory requirements focus preventing non-compliance Fair Housing violations fraudulent claims organization Manage insurance program Companies placement coverage selection carriers oversight broker handling claims Other duties assigned
