JOBPURPOSE:

Operates ultrasound equipment toperform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasiveprocedures according to established standards and practices.
Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal,pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively withstaff andradiologists.
Qualifications:


MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of an AMAapproved Diagnostic Medical SonographyProgram.


MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:

None.


MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:

ARDMS registered in at least 1specialty.


ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:

BLS certified.
One(1) year of experience is preferred.
Registered ARDMSand/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) isdesired.
