Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Electrical Designer to lead complex projects in outdoor lighting and electrical design for government agencies and public infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical design solutions for the following types of outdoor lighting and electrical projects: Local roadways, City streets, bridges, highways, and interchanges Parks, trails, and public spaces Amphitheaters, sound stages, and event venues color-changing LED lighting systems
- Develop lighting layouts based on photometric analysis that meet recommended practices DOT municipal or local agency standards Evaluate and compare outdoor lighting equipment for quality Producersubmit construction documents including detailed drawings specifications for lightning power distribution lightning control systems Perform all technical design calculations typically expected of an engineer Partnering with in-house licensed engineers final review stamping Coordinate with other disciplines project managers clients meet project client expectations Provide construction administration electric projects include responding information change orders inspection punch list generation Supervise mentor other designers Lead manage multiple discipline teams marketing cross-functional team coordination client engagement interaction communication
