    Salary Range: $75,000 $80,600/year

    Responsibilities:

    Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Staff Development & Training, The Learning Management System Administrator will manage the day-to-day operation, utilization, and delivery of the LMS. The LMS Administrator is the subject matter expert for the New York Foundlings LMS (learning management system), reporting and analytics. The LMS Administrator will develop and edit curriculum content to support the learning needs of all NYF staff. They are supervised directly by the Chief Human Resource Officer.

    The specific responsibilities of The Learning Management System Administrator included, but are not limited to:

    Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) by collaborating with the Staff Development & Training team of learning and development professionals including maintaining the LMS content quality, version control and archival information
    Lead technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the LMS infrastructure.
    Collaborate with Staff Development & Training team to research and recommend training delivery technologies and evaluate existing e-learning solutions for future development opportunities.
    Collaborate with the NYF IT application development team and the Staff Development & Training team to decide which content area materials to develop and how they should be delivered.
    Collaborate with IT as needed to test systems that impact and pull from the LMS
    Develop and project manage training projects relating to LMS improvement, course delivery, and content creation
    Work with Staff Development & Training team to modify instructional materials and identify opportunities to improve the overall effectiveness of training; Review and revise already established e-learning content and maintain the learning management system
    With support from AVPs of Staff Development & Training the LMS Administrator will attend necessary program meetings to ensure that LMS is meeting their needs and necessary and required curriculum and tracking procedures are set up in LMS.
    Develop e-learning courses
    Provide LMS training and support to internal and external staff, students, and users on functionality, usage and reporting.
    Track and escalate all user issues and provide status updates
    Set up courses, schedule and tracking in LMS to meet program and overall agencys needs and requirements
    Audit and monitor LMS user data and support the development of new reports and dashboards that will be used for ongoing improvement and compliance
    Support program leads with trouble shooting and user questions related to internal courses
    Provide technical guidance about LMS standards related to NYF and compliant with ADA and accessibility regulations
    Assign roles to learners and manage hierarchy
    With support from AVPs and Training Team, lead marketing strategy highlighting relevant courses to increase utilization of the LMS

    The Learning Management System Administrator will meet department productivity expectations, as established by senior management, participate in individual supervisory conferences, set up training space as needed and produce training materials. The LMS Administrator will participate in monthly team meetings, maintain computerized training records, including producing reports, stay abreast of current issues, trends and knowledge in the human service field.

    Other Requirements:
    Prior experience with LMS platforms and eLearning/Instructional design principles
    Understanding of eLearning standards including SCORM, AICC, and xAPI
    MUST have demonstrated expertise and proficiency with LMS/CMS systems and must have an interest in emerging technologies.
    Experience with cloud-based applications.
    Knowledge of database software or relational database theory
    Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization and with different levels of technological understanding.
    Direct training experience. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project Manager).
    Written communication and writing skills.
    Obtaining training certifications as identified based on agency needs.
    Ability to engage trainees and adjust delivery accordingly.
    Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as assigned.

    Education Required:
    Bachelors Degree from a U.S. accredited educational institution or Credential Evaluation for a non-U.S. educational institution
