Job summary
The remote housekeeper position provides a wide variety of cleaning services and other related duties required to keep remote camp facilities in a clean and orderly condition.This position will support the Milne Point Camp on the North Slope.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleans hallways stairways offices food preparation areas kitchen areas laundry rooms clinics living areas work areas common restrooms public areas etc.
- Sweeps mops scrubs strips extracts waxes buffs vacuums all types of floors.
- Dusts both low high areas.
- Removes properly disposes discarded materials compacts trash transports trash disposal areas changes light bulbs performs facility maintenance keeps building entryways free snow debris operates vehicle work remote locations periodically performs special duties certain laundry duties scheduled cleaning tasks designated night day janitor notify supervisor safety sanitation standards not met.
