    Summary

    Under minimum supervision supervises and directs the activities of technologist and students working and/or rotating through the department including their discipline and performance while in that area.

    Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
    Qualifications


    MINIMUM EDUCATION:
    Graduate of accredited school of Radiology, Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasound


    PREFERRED EDUCATION:
    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in lieu of 5 years experience


    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
    3-5 years technical experience. 2 years at supervisory level.


    REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
    Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent depending on specialty. Possession of current Texas Medical Board (TMB)

    License.
    REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g.

    , CPR):

    Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
