    Description
    As a Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and leading our programs.

    This position requires a deep understanding of benefits administration, compliance, and the ability to interpret data to ensure the effective delivery of benefits to our employees.

    This role will also be responsible for maintaining high service levels in benefit administration.


    You will:


    Coordinate and supervise employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, income protection, the Vecta AI Wellness program and other welfare benefits.

    Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.


    Lead and be responsible for the benefits billing process for all vendors globally, including invoice receipt and reconciliation, purchase order administration, bill approvals and monitoring of bill payments made by the Vectra accounts payable team.

    Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to employee benefits and ensure company policies follow these standards.

    Assist in the preparation and submission of reports required by regulatory agencies.

    Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, providing clear and accurate information.

    Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new employees, explaining available options and assisting with the enrollment process.


    Provide full-cycle leave of absence administration and customer service, including intake, employee/manager / HR Business Partner communications, leave tracking, and return to work processing.

    Develop and distribute communication materials to educate employees about their benefits and any changes to the programs.

    Liaise with benefits vendors to resolve issues, negotiate contracts, and ensure the delivery of quality services.

    Conduct periodic reviews of benefit programs and recommend improvements or changes as needed.

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefits information.

    Generate reports and analyze data related to benefits utilization.

    Required education, experience & skills:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field

    3+ years of proven experience in benefits administration or a similar role, including exposure to non-US benefits

    Proven understanding of US employee benefits laws, regulations, and standard processes

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

    Diligent with excellent interpersonal and time management abilities

    Experience with HRIS and benefit administration software
