Description
This position will receive mentoring and training in a wide array of epigenetic, molecular, biochemical, and integrative physiological approaches. Current areas of research emphasis include 1) Epigenetic regulation of cardiovascular and renal functions, 2) Molecular and stem cell therapy for cardiovascular and renal disease, and 3) Role of exosomes in the regulation of cardiovascular and renal functions. Studies are conducted in genetically engineered rodent models.Qualifications
Candidates must have a PhD, MD, or comparable degree with an interest in cellular/molecular cardiovascular or renal research.
Prior experience and training with at least three of the followings is preferred: epigenetics, CRISP/Cas9, autophagy, stem cell biology, exosome, viral vectors, renal tubule epithelial cell biology, proteomics, vascular biology, or telemetry.
