    STL- CJM Start Here Resource Directory VISTA

    Since 1979, Criminal Justice Ministry (CJM) has served individuals, families, and communities impacted by the criminal justice system. From offering services to incarcerated individuals to providing reentry programs for those returning to the St. Louis area, CJM seeks to serve the needs of the most vulnerable without judgment. CJM provides programs to individuals both inside area institutions and throughout the St. Louis community.

    CJM envisions a future for those impacted by incarceration where their relationships and communities are safe and supportive, incarceration is minimized, and recidivism is eliminated.

    Member Duties :

    The Start Here Resource Directory VISTA Member will expand and update Criminal Justice Ministry's (CJM) Start Here Resource Directory (SHRD) to provide better access to current and comprehensive provider information.

    The VISTA will help alleviate poverty amongst those experiencing re-entry by reducing the time for those in need to receive services that improve health and welfare and lower the risk of reentry and other negative impacts among the formerly incarcerated.
