    At Airswift we are proud to be working with a market leading, multinational Energy Company in finding them a transformative Senior Business Analyst to work on a permanent, full-time basis at their Houston office.

    Our client are a large petrochemical and refining company with a diverse portfolio of products.

    The Senior Business Analyst role involves identifying and conducting preliminary studies of investment or partnership opportunities in the market, working with a cross functional team to develop them through various project phases until the final investment decision, developing the organizations visibility and network in the relevant industries, assisting in the formulation of business strategies and plans for the company, and assisting the action plans to address the research and financial evaluation needs for the feasibility analysis.


    Responsibilities:


    Carry out as part of the working team's commercial activity related to project and business development for target suppliers, customers and industries – primarily in decarbonization / circularity, the export terminal and related business activities, clean hydrogen / ammonia business development.

    Define "go-to-market" approach for: direct, co-manufacturers, distributors.
    Think strategically and represent the organization as the primary contact point to our suppliers, customers and prospects.
    Monitor market trends and analyze growth opportunities.

    Keep up to date with market movements in the industry for issues that may adversely impact business development investment decisions.

    Conduct investment feasibility study, financial modelling, and investment analysis for all potential business development opportunities identified.
    Analyse financial information to forecast business, study, and economic conditions to enable business development team to make investment decision.
    Fine-tune value proposition and differentiation to be in line with consideration of market dynamics and competitive trends.
    Drive continuously profitable growth beginning with identifying customer/market opportunity and collaborating with US subsidiaries.
    Invest time in all key stakeholder relationships: customers, internal team, industry colleagues.
    Assist team to facilitate appointments/schedules with appropriate stakeholder contacts (for example, government, other businesses, potential targets, etc.)
    Assist in presentations for financing proposals, board presentations, sponsor operational updates, budgets and forecasts, and new business development opportunities.

    Understand the effect of external changes, pivot either tactical or strategic focus for specific products and how this may affect the organizations adjustments of business/marketing plan.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus.
    3+ years of experience in petrochemical, hydrogen, CCUS and ammonia fields is a essential.
    Good skill in financial analysis, evaluation and forecasting and ability to synthetize the valuation model.
    Basic understanding of business development processes including due diligence and understanding of integration phase is a plus.
    Global and US market knowledge.
    Have exceptional communication skills in drafting analyses reports for senior business development management.
