As a Security Officer - Part-Time Patrol Relief in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, medical facility disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor and report security-related concerns such as blocked egress routes, suspicious behavior, and unsecured doors, and document observations in daily activity logs and incident reports.

Support patient and visitor flow by providing directions, assisting with wayfinding, and coordinating with clinical and facilities teams when security-related assistance is requested.

Minimum Requirements:

Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
