    Description
    The ideal candidate is a team player who will support the ECM Supply Chain Solutions business segment.

    The Business Analyst will support the VP of Supply Chain Solutions in developing and executing the strategy and tactics to deliver profitable growth.

    The Business Analyst will conduct a detailed market assessment to identify target markets and profitable market trends.

    The Business analyst will assist in the evaluation of supplies from a "market matching" perspective (how closely aligned the supplier's capabilities are with the identified market needs and trends).

    The Business Analyst will run profitability studies by market and by customer to identify trends, issues and opportunities that are actionable by the business and sales team.

    Responsibilities
    Key contributor in setting overall supply chain solution business strategy
    Perform all business analysis for the line of business

    Competitive Analysis:
    Analyze sales and profitability by product type and market.
    Understand market and customer profitability, quoting/funnel and other trends which will help define business strategy, pricing strategy and other tactics

    Market Research:
    Evaluation of supplies from a "market matching" perspective (how closely aligned the suppliers capabilities are with the identified market needs and trends)
    Provide analytical support to current suppliers and potential suppliers match the market and customer value proposition and vise versa.

    Provide analytical support and business logic to help management define the market plan, target markets and customers based on matching SCS value proposition to target market and customer demands.

    Identify/attend events, conferences, tradeshows, networking or other "spaces" that match the SCS value proposition and targeted customers/markets
    Assist in identification of potential focus areas for targeted sales outreach (lead lists, driving engagement, sales/marketing campaigns, etc.)

    Other Responsibilities:


    Review lead generation and other relevant marketing data/analytics (SEO/Social/Digital) to support marketing team and define areas of focus driving increases in ideal opportunities.

    Assists in creation of content (data sheets, pitch materials, value prop highlights, presentations, etc.)

    Participates in Sales Training – Ensures Sales team remains informed, assists in development and conducting relevant training as scheduled by Director of Business Development.

    Work closely with finance organization to ensure management is receiving the appropriate business reports needed to make quick sound business decisions.

    Work closely with other ECM functional groups, Sales, Estimating, Finance, Quality, HR and others as required to deliver the SCS business strategy
    Assist management in identifying business risk and appropriate risk mitigation plans.
    Develop relationships with key internal parties, customers and suppliers as required.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications
    BS in Engineering or Business degree in finance or strategy
    1-3 years' work experience in a highly analytical role
    Strong Analytical skill
