    Career Staffing Talent (CST) is working with a Miami/Fort Lauderdale Am Law 200 firm to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst (MUST COME FROM PROFESSIONAL SERVICES - LAW OR ACCOUNTING) for its downtown Miami office. The position will support the firm across its multiple offices and work closely with the Finance department.

    The position is full-time in-office, M-F. Compensation is market (DOE). The benefits are excellent

    Analyze Complex Financial Data:

    • Evaluate intricate financial data, including partner compensation models, practice group profitability, and client billing metrics.
    • Assess the overall financial health of the firm by analyzing these factors.

    Sophisticated Financial Modeling

    • Develop and maintain advanced financial models.
    • Forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow, considering specific Am Law 200 landscape factors (e.g., lateral hiring, client concentration, litigation contingencies).

    Budget Development and Implementation:

    • Collaborate with senior management to create and execute the annual budget.
    • Perform variance analysis and monitor performance.

    Industry Research and Insights:

    • Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitor performance among Am Law 200 firms, and potential mergers or acquisitions.

    Tailored Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare comprehensive financial reports customized for the Am Law environment.
    • Examples include partner profitability reports and practice group performance reports.

    Cost Optimization and Strategic Guidance:

    • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to enhance financial efficiency while maintaining competitiveness.
    • Collaborate closely with practice groups and departments, providing strategic financial guidance to support their business development efforts.

    Adherence to Accounting Principles:

    • Ensure strict compliance with accounting principles and best practices specific to Am Law firms.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA is advantageous).
    • At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Financial Analyst or in a similar role within a professional services firm, preferably an Am Law 200 firm.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling software (including Excel).
    • Effective communication skills to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
