    Engineering Intern for CakeBoxx Technologies, LLC.

    Salary: $ /hour

    Job Type: Full-time or part-time paid internship

    Areas of Consideration: Open to students currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or civil engineering.

    Job Description: We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented individual to join our Engineering Team as a staff intern engineer. In this position, you will work as part of a team, researching and developing innovative supply chains solutions for High Value, High Consequence, Mission Critical Cargo for the defense, aerospace, and renewable energy sectors. The internship is for 12-month period with the opportunity to be employed as a full-time engineer.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assists Engineers with research, development, and design of products

    · Review and support refinement of engineering drawings

    • Collaborate with product managers, team members, and customers to develop innovative products for the cargo supply chain

    · Generate reports based on data analysis and project progress

    • Assists Engineers with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    · Enrolled in an accredited college or university for Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Civil Engineering

    · Have knowledge of CAD software, such as Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo etc. to create and modify technical drawings

    · Ability to perform basic engineering calculations

    · Ability to organize information for use in drawings or other documents

    · Analytical skills: ability to develop fact-based recommendations resulting from in-depth data analysis

    · Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

    · Communication skills: collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude

    · Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

    · Strong English language proficiency in communicating technical and subject matter information, both in verbally and in writing

    • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required
    • Valid U.S. Driver's License
    • U.S. Passport and ability to travel preferred
    • Veterans and prior military service appreciated
    • Second language skills desired but not required
