    Position Details Title Lecturer in Biotechnology Appointment Status Non-Tenure Track Department IU Bloomington Biology Location Bloomington Position Summary The Department of Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Lecturer position beginning August 1, 2022.

    Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate biotechnology courses that serve students in the Biotechnology B.S., B.A, and M.S. programs.

    Basic Qualifications A Ph.
    D. in Biotechnology-related field (e.g., Biotechnology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Microbiology) is required.

    Postdoctoral training and/or previous experience in a private sector biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or agricultural company is also strongly preferred, but not required.

    Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, and documented evidence of classroom and/or laboratory teaching ability. Salary is commensurate with experience and full benefits are included.
