    Job Description:


    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced global Head of Electrical and Automation Engineering to lead our talented team in developing innovative electrical, instrumentation, automation, and machine control systems.

    As a key member of our leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical and machine control solutions for our projects.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams, driving product development, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex engineering projects.

    Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and technical expertise in electrical and automation engineering are essential for this role.

    The role is responsible for leading a global management team and is based out of our Salt Lake City, Utah office location.


    Responsibilities:


    Lead and mentor a team of electrical and automation engineers and designers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

    Develop and implement the electrical and automation engineering roadmap and strategies to meet project objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.

    Drive the design and development of electrical and automation systems, from concept to production, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineering, software development, project management, and others, to achieve integrated and successful project outcomes.

    Oversee the evaluation and selection of components, technologies, and suppliers to optimize system performance and cost-effectiveness.
    Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.

    Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in electrical and controls engineering, and incorporate relevant innovations into our projects.

    Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting efficiency, quality, and innovation within the electrical and controls engineering team.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in engineering; Electrical or Automation engineering specialty preferred.
    Proven experience in a leadership role within engineering, with a track record of successful project delivery.
    Technical expertise in electrical and machine controls system design, PLC programming, industrial automation and market trends.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety practices.
    Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    Project management skills, including experience with project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
    Commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development within the team.
