- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
- Deliver high-quality instruction in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and parents to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess students' academic and behavioral progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and IEP goals.
- Participate in team meetings and provide insights and recommendations for student support and development.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher.
- Experience working with middle school students is preferred.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
