Job Summary:
The Associate Director, Strategic Insights and Analytics will lead the advanced analytical initiatives that uncovers business insights across the marketing mix.
This individual will be responsible for the development and reporting of market analytics, portfolio analytics and market intelligence that guide strategic decision making including product positioning and short and long-term forecast assumptions.
Job Responsibilities:
Utilize deep understanding of the business, customers, and drivers of performance to provide objective analytical consultation to key stakeholders.
S/he manages advanced analytics through integrating multiple data sources, creating relevant business visualizations, identifying top business insights and trends while making strategic recommendations to leadership team.
Key stakeholder of Integrated Business Plan (IBP) process and responsible for managing existing product portfolio assumptions, pipeline reporting/analysis and general business analytics.
Provide tracking & intelligence reporting to ensure the business is accomplishing budget targets
Lead Cross-Functional Product Strategy sessions to generate and execute product strategies that capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks; ensure financial/business impacts are reflected in IBP.
Identify market triggers and drive strategic decision making that influence customer/product positioning and/or inventory planningDevelop and implement marketing strategies/programs with National Account team that drive revenue, optimize market share and improve customer relations.
Perform ROI analysis on marketing programs
Manage routine market analytics to monitor company and product market share, market intelligence, overviews and trends
Identify, standardize and automate integration of critical reporting metrics utilizing various Business Intelligence tools e.g. QlikSense to support evolving business needs and opportunities. Provides consultation on reports to ensure their use and effectiveness among users.
Maintains proficiency in all available research tools and sources, including IQVIA, IPD Analytics, FDA Orange Book, , Medi-Span Price Rx, Definitive Healthcare, DailyMed, online news sources, and internal data sources and programs
Lead a number of special projects as requested
Recruits, trains, develops and manages effectively the ongoing performance of their direct reports, which includes, but is not limited to:
Ensuring their Job Descriptions are reviewed, signed and sent to Employee Services, annually,
Reviewing and updating employee development plans, ensuring that all employees are properly trained and qualified to execute their duties,
Providing coaching, feedback and recognition,
Responsible to ensure compliance of team members (direct reports) with Safety and Employment policies
Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes;
Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required either in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a similar degree
Advanced Degree (MBA, MS etc.) preferred
Associate Director 7+ years relevant experience, including 3+ years managing direct reports
Demonstrate strategic thinking ability and strong data mining skills
Computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
SQL, QlikSense (or equivalent BI tools) preferred
Strong and proven quantitative, qualitative, analytical reasoning and communication skills
Ability to travel (approximately 10-20% travel)
