LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering on the hiring of a Director of Development for a startup, creative based nonprofit organization located in Seattle, WA. The selected individual will be a member of the management team and will be responsible for building out programs and fundraising efforts. This position requires someone with experience developing relationships with individuals, corporations and foundations; a passion for the arts is highly desired. This role is fully remote.

Responsibilities include:

• Create and develop new program initiatives to build long-term financial stability
• Identify and prospect fundraising efforts through market research, referrals, existing clients, and networking
• Collaborate with high level management and board members on increasing value propositions
• Write effective, successful company communications to internal and external audiences

Qualifications needed:

• 5+ years' experience building out programs and/or business operations
• 3+ years of progressive experience in sales, outreach, fundraising or membership development, with a proven track record of success.
• Experience creating outreach and engagement strategy
• Strong communication skills and proven track record of interaction with community business leaders
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM databases
• A passion for the arts and creative ventures highly desired

This role offers medical, dental, vision, 401k match, PTO and WFH reimbursement.

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
