    About the Role

    This position involves setting up home medical equipment, including ventilators, monitors, CPAP/BiPAP units, and other related devices. The selected candidate will educate and train patients on proper usage of prescribed equipment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Setup, operate, and educate patients on home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP machines, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and mechanical ventilators.
    • Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
    • Review prescriptions and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment administration in accordance with physician orders.
    • Maintain accurate and organized patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
    • Stay updated on respiratory homecare techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts.
    • Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed, with frequency determined by center size and number of employees available.

    Requirements

    • Clinical professionals with CRT, RRT, RN, LPN, LVN, paramedic, EMT, or other equivalent certifications are eligible for this position.
    • Must remain certified, registered, or licensed by the applicable state and/or national board governing clinical practice or as permitted by law.
    • Must have a reliable personal vehicle to visit patients throughout assigned territory, with mileage reimbursement provided.
    • Must maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance in their state of residence, per company policy.
    • Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and rehabilitation, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential.

    Physical Demands

    • Frequent lifting and/or movement of up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting and/or movement of up to 50 pounds.
