Fox Pest is looking for an enthusiastic Utility Technician The Utility Technician is responsible for servicing our clients homes with our leading-edge products and delivering a positive customer service experience Specifically the Utility Technician is assigned various specialized services including treatments for insulation mosquitoes bed bugs termites and more You never know what each day might bring We count on our Utility Technicians to be some of the most versatile knowledgeable and challenge-ready team members What we Offer Positive and empowering culture with a strong opportunity for advancement Starting pay of $19 - $20 per hour Health Insurance including Medical Dental Vision for full-time employees PTODays after just 30 days full-time individuals Paid Holidays are offered at the date of hire Empowering positive workplace culture Strong potential room growth Individualized Leadership Plan every team member Paid hands-on training opportunities h2 bResponsibilities/b h2 A Day in Life of a Utility Technician As a Utility Technician Fox Pest Control you begin your day with a team meeting review schedules gather materials will travel different job sites inspect pest problems apply treatments or check install insulation that enhances energy efficiency keeps pests out Good communication clients team members essential After completing work conduct final inspections clean job site finish paperwork team debrief ensure tasks meet high standards p Essential Functions Service customers homes professional satisfactory manner Inspect property determine treatment type Identify invading pests Apply chemical solutions powders granules surfaces building house eliminate pests typically special treatments Installing repairing maintaining insulation systems Ensure safety procedures followed application re-entry Utilize appropriate protective gear equipment during application Keep service vehicles organized professional clean follow regulations Maintain professional appearance including company uniform footwear personal hygiene Build positive strong relationships clients Work exceed client expectations Make suggestions clients avoid pest problems when appropriate Participate fully training opportunities enhance knowledge meet requirements licensing /li ul Qualifications At least one year experience pest technician work insulation work Ability build positive relationships effectively communicate value customers Able analyze explain implement effective plan action Learn follow servicing protocols apply chemical solutions powders Able lift up to pounds occasionally Valid driver license authorized US li ul
