    Description

    Job Summary:

    Join our fast-growing and innovative team Our team is a private mortgage lender focused on originating first lien mortgages to real estate investors in the Pacific Northwest and Washington. Its management team is seasoned investment professionals in real estate, hard money lending, distressed assets, and capital markets. Our goal is to provide liquidity to real estate space while generating solid risk adjusted returns to its investors.

    Overview:

    Responsible for processing, coordinating, and originating private investor loans with an emphasis on accuracy and high customer satisfaction.

    Core Duties & Responsibilities.

    • First-touch for borrowers and loan applicant(s) in the underwriting process
    • Assist in building complete loan packages to deliver underwriting and funding.
    • Work closely with loan officers and borrowers towards closing and funding loans.
    • Order title reports, open escrow, and help bind insurance coverage.
    • Bring loans through closing with third parties such as title and escrow companies.
    • Resolve and clear underwriting conditions prior to closing.
    • Communicate pipeline and file status to loan officers, underwriter, and management.
    • Organize and effectively manage a full pipeline of mortgage loan files.
    • Evaluate loan files for regulatory compliance and completeness.
    • Office management duties, including sorting and filing mail and loan files.

    Qualifications

    • Thrives in a high-paced and dynamic environment with a desire to learn and get better individually and as a team.
    • Preferable someone with a background in title, escrow and mortgage lending.
    • High level of integrity
    • Works well with process, workflows and proactively improves processes for maximum efficiency.
    • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and strong team player
    • Strong customer service and time management skills a must
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Previous experience with mortgage loan processing preferred.
    • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience preferred, but willing to make exceptions with relevant educational background (e.g., accounting, finance, business administration).
