    This position is responsible for supervising daily operations and requires coordination between multiple departments; ensuring the plant meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and safety requirements.


    Some Core Responsibilities are:
    Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet targets and exceed our customers' expectations.

    Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.

    Drive a culture of high performance and accountability in safety, quality/food safety, customer service and cost.


    Coordinate with management to execute strategies in alignment with strategic company goals and initiatives providing a clear sense of direction and focus.

    Demonstrate a floor presence across all shifts to verify consistent daily run-right processes and implementation of corrective actions.

    Supervises and directs activities of the production department, ensuring product adheres to company's standard of safety, quality, and throughput.

    Supervises production activities and personnel to ensure company revenue, cost, and profit metrics are met

    Collaborates with the planning department to create production schedules that meet both internal and external needs. Establishes and adjusts work procedures and schedules to meet operation plan.


    Maintains effective working relationships with team members through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, productivity, and throughput.

    Provides feedback to management to facilitate coaching and development, employment decisions, and resolving issues through conflict resolution.

    Collaborates with management team to monitor and plan preventative maintenance on the production lines.

    Analyzes and submits reports for production numbers, downtime, attendance, overtime and quality checks to the senior management team.

    Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve operation methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

    Communicates regularly with management team on working items, staff, changes in production and any other item that could effect or benefit production

    Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department personnel.

    Interfaces with multiple departments within the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.

    Adheres to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.

    Instills encouragement and confidence along with company mission within staff

    Collaborates with raw material planners to ensure correct inventories based on production schedules. Escalates supplier quality issues to prevent customer shortages.

    Executes monitors quality controls standards to meet company expected standards.

    Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job

    Required Qualifications
    Manages a safe working environment, accurately documents safety related training, and effectively communicates safety incidents

    Provides strategic input and oversight to departmental projects

    Operates with a data-driven mindset

    Continuously evaluates existing programs and processes, and provides suggestions for new initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste

    Creates, monitors, and responds to departmental performance metrics to drive continuous improvement

    Demonstrates ability to think analytically and synthesize complex information

    Effectively delegates and directs as required to meet objectives

    Works effectively with management, departments, vendors, and customers to achieve organizational success

    Identifies opportunities for collaboration in strategic ways

    Provides opportunities for the development of all direct reports

    Understands, identifies, and addresses conflict within own team and between teams

    Ability to follow deadlines and hold team accountable

    Education

    Minimum Required:
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related vocational studies


    Preferred:
    Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related vocational studies


    Preferred Qualifications:
    10+ Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment

    10+ Years – Experience working in Position or one similar

    6 Years – Experience managing people/projects

    6 Years – Experience collaborating with multiple people/teams
