About Program Position
Our Transitional Foster Care Program Unaccompanied Children UC-TFC overseen Office Refugee Resettlement ORR ensures well-being safety unaccompanied children ages who cross US Southern border adult Unlike traditional congregate care settings our approach involves placing unaccompanied children foster homes diligently searching assessing potential sponsors identified US During stay provide medical care case management engaging life skills classes essential mental health services Teachers work support unaccompanied children progressive academic services including content skills knowledge Social Emotional Learning acculturation recreation development independent living skills guide become global citizens agents positive change communities How You Get Use Skills…
