- Assumes responsibility for updating knowledge of current polices and procedures, protocol and practices.
- Monitor patients during surgical procedures and provide support to the surgical team
- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgical team
- Develops and implements an adequate staffing plan, effective interview skills, and manages retention and turnover. Determines supplies, equipment and staffing are in place for successful operation of the department.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomesRequirements:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, medical equipment, and anesthesia administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast
