RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independent execution of standardized processes in the area of accounts payable accounting in accordance to local law and IFRS.
• Ensure the consistency and integrity of financial information by completing assigned Internal Controls (ICS)
• Execution of plausibility check in accordance to guidelines and simple error corrections.
• Performance and documentation of reconciliation procedures as well as execution and documentation of various checks according to the internal control system.
• Deep analysis of open items, plan actions and execute accordingly with global guidelines.
• Identifying discrepancies, reconciliation of vendor accounts, communication, and follow-up with contacts; internal and external (Banks).
• Provide Customer Service to Supplier and Stakeholders regarding inquiries related to Accounts Payable process.
• Analyze and determine the appropriateness of disbursement requests and the supporting documentation for compliance with the Bank policies and procedures for the payment's execution.
• Accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing in accordance with AP timelines.
• Assure compliance with process, standards and corporate policies.
• Assist in measuring performance against departmental and business KPI's.
• Support other functions in Accounts Payable area as required and also initiatives to simplify or improve the quality in the process under responsibility.
• Responsible for the activities inherent to its function, complying with the requirements of the Code of Conduct; quality, environment, safety and health management system; Internal Procedures; and ISO 9001 and/or 14001 standards where applicable.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in finance/business administration or equivalent experience.
• Profound (in case of Super-User very good) knowledge of SAP Financials and MS Office.
• Excellent business writing and oral skills.
• Profound knowledge in accounts payable process.
• SAP / similar ERP experience.
• Shared service center experience, transition project experience and knowledge in IFRS accounting standards preferred.
• Maintain a high-level professionalism and approachability.
• Soft skills: action-orientated and flexible problem-solver; Emotional intelligence and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• SAP / similar ERP experience.Transition project experience preferred.
