    Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse Clinical Mentor for the following Acute Care areas: ICU, PCU, Medical and Surgical.

    This is a Part-Time, Nights (2 – 8 hr. shifts) role.

    As a Clinical Mentor, you will develop expertise in training, coaching and mentoring staff through the promotion and delivery of high-quality nursing care.

    To help achieve our mission, you will orient, educate and develop nursing staff to ensure competence and ability to fulfill specified responsibilities.


    Schedule:
    Part-time, Nights (2 – 8 hour shifts)
    Requires a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in clinical nursing in designated specialty


    Minimum Education Requirement:
    BSN (Bachelors Degree of Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing.
    Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.
    Prior experience in ICU, PCU, and/or Medical/Surgical.

    • Experience with teaching, mentoring, and coaching nursing staff, especially new graduate and novice nurses within the clinical acute setting.
    • Proficient in English.
    • Proficient computer skills required.
