Mechanical Design Engineer | Plainfield New Jersey

Base Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 + Profit Sharing + Great Atmosphere

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on large power plant equipment, utilizing your expertise in 2D AutoCAD and familiarity with codes and standards such as OSHA, AISC, and ASME. As a team player, you will excel in our fast-paced and dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver top-quality results.

To be considered you should have..

• 5+ years of experience designing infrastructure equipment like pressure vessels, storage tanks, process piping, steel structural supports, heat-exchangers, cooling towers, rooftop chillers, or large agricultural or construction equipment.
• Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and familiarity with 3D software
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards like ASME or AISC
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
