Summary

Per Se is seeking an Applications Engineer Intern who will work alongside the Applications team to learn and develop the skills necessary to become successful in theindustry.

We are looking to develop the future ofMachinery by utilizing the latest in 2D/3D modeling software and using some of the most advanced manufacturing equipment available today.

TheApplications Engineers work to develop processes to enhance customer production by utilizing product analysis and demonstrations. Projects will reflect an increasing level of understanding and success from previous tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist in facilitating showroom activities, including machine demonstration and test studies

Support the setup and operation of laser machines at trade shows and corporate events

Learn to evaluate and diagnose customer reports, provide timely responses and resolutions to technical issues

participate in pre-sales activities, including developing demonstrations and reports to address customer needs

Preferred skills and expertise

Currently pursuing a technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Strong interest in industrial machinery and engineering principles

Ability to occasionally travel to trade shows and corporate events

Possess a DL to operate a motor vehicle
