    Overview:
    We are seeking a Software Developer team lead to lead a team of developers in support of the MIDS Software Support Activity and MIDS Program Office

    Responsibilities:

    Essential Functions/Job Duties:

    Work involves highly technical efforts in support of system engineering software development testing, system integration, networking, testing, and analysis:The ability to lead a team composed of a diverse group of technically skilled Developer professionals with varied levels of experience to lead, plan, execute, collect test data, analyze test data and report test findings.

    Create and maintain project documentation to include detailed project plans to track project progress.
    Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and communicate/report project status and needs to management and associated clients.
    Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, specifically Python and C++.Experience in software testing and operating of embedded systems and equipment.

    Knowledge of or ability to learn and/or experience with the inter-relationships among differing operational requirements, operational schedules including knowledge of operating characteristics, operating requirements, and equipment troubleshooting techniques.

    Ability to execute hardware/software tests or otherwise support testing activities including the use of test scripts that implement the designed test.

    Skill in reviewing test plans, test procedures and test reports and the use and operation of test data analysis tools and data collection.

    Ability to perform root cause analysis on submitted trouble reports and replicating the identified issues while performing data reduction and analysis and applying the findings to expected results.

    Provide input to reports and assist in the review of technical documents.

    Laptop computer and peripheral equipment

    Typical Working Conditions:
    General office environment with USG provided NMCI Computer and peripheral equipment.
    TEA Corporate laptop will be provided at the discretion of Executive Management.


    Essential Physical Tasks:
    Ability to lift 10 lbs. on an occasional basis.
    Potential domestic travel 10% of the time by automobile, air, etc.
    Ability to use a personal computer, keyboard and mouse on a consistent basis.


    Written Communications:
    Operates standard computer based business tools (including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel) effectively.
    Independently generates documentation that presents information in a logical manner.


    Verbal Communications:
    Demonstrates excellent clear and concise verbal communication skills.

    Active communicator - giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.

    Required experience:
    Requires minimum of five (5) years experience as a software developmental tester and integrator.
    Experience with object-oriented programming languages, specifically C++ and Python.


    Customer Interface Activities:
    Interfaces with customer and other contractor/civilian/military representatives utilizing clear and effective written and oral communication skills.

    Uses independent discretion to develop an effective client to customer communication process involving stakeholder identification, planned communication, efficient information distribution, and managing expectations.


    Project Management / Staff Supervision Tasks:
    Follows Government, company, or project processes and approval methods. Ability to follow clear established process and team priorities.
    Contributes to the project team and/or manages a project task.
    Actively works to meet project quality expectations and deadlines with a concern for reducing errors in customer deliverables.


    Work Schedule:
    9/80Able to efficiently adapt to new priorities. This includes effectively multitasking project responsibilities with an awareness to support changes as needed.
    The ability to work non-standard work hours and schedules in support of project requirements.


    Minimum Education Requirements:
    High School or GEDBachelor of Science in relevant technical field desired

    Pay Range:
    $95,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually, DOEU

    S Citizenship is requiredSecurity Clearance:
    Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government TS/SCI security clearance, and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active TS/SCI security clearance is highly desirable.
