    Blank Children's Hospital is currently looking for a part-time Neonatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Des Moines, IA. Be part of something meaningful at UnityPoint Health.

    Blank Children's Hospital serves the unique healthcare needs of children in Des Moines and is dedicated to involving families in their child’s recovery.

    With a child-friendly environment, including specialized equipment and decor tailored for children, we provide exceptional care to young patients.

    General

    • 28,000+ patient visits per year
    • Certified Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
    • Main teaching site for pediatric and family practice residents and medical students
    • Supported 24/7 by pediatric emergency physicians
    • Integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC

    Responsibilities

    • Part-time position
    • Collaborate with neonatology physician to deliver team-based care
    • Work in both downtown Methodist NICU and Methodist West special care unit
    • Attend to 15 patients per day
    • Level 3B NICU & specialized neonatal transport team

    Qualifications

    • Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
    • NRP Certification required
    • Board Eligible or Certified
    • Authorization to prescribe medications in the field of practice
    • Eligibility to work in the USA (H1-B cap exempt)
