    Leidos has a career opportunity for a Content Marketing Director to support its Digital Modernization Sector. The Content Marketing Director will help define and execute a robust marketing strategy for DigMod products and solutions, working with subject matter experts to gain a deep understanding of the

    DigMod value proposition and customer solutions to succinctly explain how their products help solve customer problems.

    Key objectives of this role are to: Create and execute a Leidos' Digital Modernization marketing strategy with measurable impact and results, create or shape marketing campaigns that directly align to our customers, align all product marketing copy with Leidos' brand ideals, build relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, and to set solution marketing budgets and track spend, with an eye for ROI.

    This position is based in Reston, VA with hybrid remote work options available. Must be willing to travel when necessary.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute marketing strategies and content tied to business objectives.
    • Manage complex marketing campaigns involving Leidos products and services.
    • Support trade show activities and deliverables.
    • Maintain relationships and tie-in to corporate communications teams and community.
    • Execute strategic communications campaigns on behalf of the company.
    • Contribute to social media campaigns and content strategy for DigMod.
    • Prepare Leidos and customer reports.
    • Provide timely and accurate responses to communications and data reporting requests.
    • Identify and develop opportunities to integrate effective strategies as part of the broader corporate communications operation (i.e. marketing, internal communications, )
    • Develop and maintain relationships with Leidos subject matter experts.
    • Write communication deliverables for accuracy, tone, and clarity and reviews/edits work products from others for accuracy and clarity.
    • Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing demands on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Ability to work some nights and weekends may be required.
    • Participate in meetings to gather and synthesize information and identify opportunities to develop and/or improve communications.
    • Measure and present results of communication efforts, as needed.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Communications, Marketing, English or Political Science) and 12+ years work experience tied to communications, marketing, and media relations.
    • Excellent presentation, public speaking and written communication skills.
    • Exceptional organization skills and ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests
    • Demonstrated expertise in the planning and execution of proactive communication campaigns for large, complex organizations or government/political officeholders that engage a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of federal contracting, IT services, and government affairs.
    • Prior experience communicating directly with government customers at varying levels within the organization.
    • Demonstrated experience with managing/leading a team of employees to deliver consistent and accurate results for stakeholders.
    • Fluent with Microsoft Office tools/programs, especially Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness with a hands-on approach to problem solving.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in AP-Style grammar.
    • Prior experience supporting DoD or federal programs
    • Organizational Change Management leadership experience
    • Significant knowledge of corporate communications best practices.
    • Experience working for or with government contractors and/or technology solutions providers.
    • Familiarity with web conferencing tools and platforms.
    • Experience using collaborative software and workflow management

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $98, $177,425.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
