- Fellowship training in Infectious Diseases
- Experience in hospital epidemiology and infection prevention
- Healthcare epidemiology training through programs by the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (or equivalent)
- Graduate level education in epidemiologic methods (or other public health training)
- An interest in data analysis and process improvement

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) is recognized as the top hospital in New Hampshire according to U.News and World Report.
We are on the lookout for an outstanding Hospital Epidemiologist and Staff Physician to join our clinical team in the Section of Infectious Disease and International Health within the Department of Medicine.
This role involves leading the hospitals' Infection Prevention program and offering expertise in infection prevention activities and programs at DHMC. As part of this position, you will have the chance to collaborate and conduct research with the Value Institute, the Analytics Institute, and The Dartmouth Institute.
Additionally, there are opportunities to educate various learners in an academic medical setting and at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.
The Section of Infectious Disease and International Health at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is composed of fifteen faculty members, ten fellows, associate providers, nursing staff, research, and administrative staff.
Our Section's clinical services cover hospital-based and outpatient consultations for infectious diseases in both adults and children, an International Travel Clinic, Infection Control Program, Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy program, and a Regional HIV Program.
