- Supervise Resident Services Department associates, including Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.s).
- Assist in managing the medication program, supporting residents with their self-administration of medications.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Report significant incidents or changes in resident needs to the Executive Director or Resident Services Director.
- Help complete resident assessments and develop personalized service plans.
- Conduct clinical assessments and recertifications as per state requirements.
- Support the hiring and performance management of department staff.
- Participate in the training and orientation of new associates to ensure they are equipped and informed.
- Engage in scheduled in-service programs, training sessions, and departmental meetings.
- Assist with staffing and scheduling of Resident Services Assistants as needed.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to enhance the skills of department staff.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through support for residents and families.
- Assist in supervising care provided by RSA staff.
- Must hold a valid RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification required.
