    Job Title: Experienced CDL Driver for small Owner Operator business

    Job Overview:
    • As an experienced CDL (Commercial Driver's License) driver specializing in semi-truck operation, your primary responsibility will be to safely transport goods and materials over the Southeast Coast (GA, FL, TN, AL).
    • You will play a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain by ensuring timely and secure delivery of freight.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Safe Operation: Safely operate and maneuver semi-trucks, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to commercial driving.
    • Route Planning: Plan and execute efficient routes, taking into consideration factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and delivery schedules. Make adjustments as needed to meet delivery deadlines.
    • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the semi-truck and associated equipment. Perform basic maintenance tasks and promptly report any mechanical issues to the appropriate authorities.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information. Complete the required paperwork for each trip, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
    • Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers during pick-up and delivery, providing excellent customer service. Address any concerns or issues promptly and efficiently.
    • Communication: Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, shippers, and receivers. Provide regular updates on the status of deliveries and report any unexpected delays or issues.
    • Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations. Stay informed about changes in regulations and ensure ongoing compliance.

    Qualifications:
    • Must have a valid CDL License
    • Must have at least 2 years experience
    • Must have a good Driving Record
    • No Accidents - No Exceptions
    • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing schedules, routes, and work conditions.

    I'm Rhonda Grayson and I honestly need a few Drivers to drive OTR in the South & on the East Coast. I'm located in Atlanta and I have trucks here, however, more trucks are in Savannah. I will make every effort to get you to the truck. You will be home nightly and most weekends. All weekends will be your choice. I also need TWIC cardholders that can also deliver on the Port of Savannah & South Carolina. Must be a hard worker and a very cautious driver.
