Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (Contract)

Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time contract position in Grand Forks, North Dakota, for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language needs, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to improve communication skills and enhance academic success.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' speech and language development in the classroom and other learning environments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions.
• Stay informed about best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• North Dakota state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
