Description

IDES is seeking a highly motivated control systems engineer with programming experience to join our manufacturing team.

IDES is a licensed engineering firm providing engineering services in the following 9 core areas:

Process Automation
Control System Design and Integration
Mechanical Design and Integration
Information Systems
Automation and Robotic Systems
Automated Guided Vehicle Systems (AGV)
Autonomous Mobile Robot Systems (AMR)
Embedded Software Development
Product Development & Prototype Services
Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the product
Suggest methods to improve operational efficiency
Work cross-functionally with different teams and organizations
Design automation machine components
Develop control systems
Develop PLC programs and embedded software
Develop and test complex algorithms
Deploy solutions and troubleshoot issues onsite

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
Ability to read and understand designs and schematics
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Preferences:
Experience with 1 or more of the following programming software:
