Job SummaryConveys the purposes and services of El Paso Health's (EPH) various lines of business to members and potential members.
Serves as a liaison for health plan members who need assistance obtaining covered services, accessing local community resources, and understanding internal health plan processes to reduce and eliminate health disparities.
Understands the concepts of social determinants of health, principles of health equity and their impact on health outcomes. Establishes and nurtures local partnerships with groups that focus on reducing inequities and social determinants of health.Skills
Two years of experience in Medicaid, CHIP, and Third Party Administration (TPA), health promotion, outreach program coordination, social services and/or marketing.
Knowledge of community, State, and NMDoH resources preferred. Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint software, as well as detailed reporting required.License/Registration/Certification
Community Health Worker Certification preferred.
Current valid state driver's license required.
Education and Training
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor degree in Business, Health Science, Marketing or related field preferred.
