    Job Summary
    Responsible for supporting and delivering operational excellence at all Anchor Plant warehouses. Manage warehouse operations while accountable for improving warehouse KPI's with focus on Anchor's strategic pillars of Safety, Flawless customer experience and Advantage cost position. This individual will evaluate, develop and standardize warehouse best practice across all plants.

    MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Ensure compliance to all safety policies at Anchor warehouses including safe delivery of product to our customers. Key focus items include: PIV/pedestrian interaction, dock safety and safe movement of product.
    • Improve warehouse operational objectives by developing, implementing and monitoring safety, quality, customer service and productivity standards.
    • Develop optimum warehousing layouts to achieve the most efficient product movement, FIFO compliance and best utilization of warehouse space
    • Audit processes, identify gaps, enhance processes and standardize to improve inventory accuracy with regular inventory cycle counts, inventory reconciliation and FIFO/aged inventory management
    • Develop collaborative and best practice sharing culture and lead quarterly/bi annual meetings with Logistics Mgrs and/or Transportation coordinators from all locations.
    • Work closely with Corporate Logistics Mgr to audit external warehouses, identify cost savings opportunities.
    • Lead efforts to standardize automated tag printing processes and other projects related to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
    • Work closely with plant Logistics Mgrs to identify opportunities to improve truck loading efficiency and schedule adherence
    • Develop, maintain and adhere to employee training for all positions related to warehouse operations
    • Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective action for missed deliveries while adhering to escalation protocols for missed shipments
    • Manage SOP's for all warehouse operations
    EMPLOYEE QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering preferred

    Related certifications, APICS and/or CSCMP preferred.

    5-7 years supervisory experience in warehousing/shipping operation.

    Must have leadership, project management, communication, and organizations skills.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office products Excel, Visio, Project, Word and PowerPoint.
