    ABOUT THE ROLEThe Business Analyst will drive the delivery of complex global business solutions to create maximum competitive advantage in line with the requirements of the IT capabilities but keeping in sight the desired business outcomes.

    The role will combine their AZ internal knowledge, in-depth understanding of the supply chain and Logistics direction and IT expertise to drive the creation of strong robust solutions.

    Whilst guiding a team of analysts to adhere to strong standards supporting strong delivery goals.
    Key AccountabilitiesBuild strong relationships with key customer groups and project stakeholders in your capability.

    Responsible for developing robust solution designs based on a deep understanding of the short-term and long-term business direction, covering a range of technologies.

    Lead high-level investigations on requirements specifications and feasibility studies, developing a range of options aligned to business and IT strategy.

    Lead the business analysis for large scale global projects inc business impact assessments, identifying risks and issues that may affect current and future business units and roles, and create business requirements as well as other ADF related tasks.

    Proactively identify opportunities for IT to deliver innovative technology solutions.
    Present and gain commitment to IT initiatives, using specialist knowledge to gain commitment to established or new IT services.

    Create and Maintain standards for Business Analysis within the capability and cascade those to wider team to ensure they are embedded.

    System Ownership responsibility for supply chain enterprise systems.

    Essential for the roleStrong understanding of SAP systems and processes within them (especially Supply Chain & Logistics Space).Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Strong networking and team working skills.
    Demonstrate strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives.
    Good understanding of GXP processes.
    Experience working on complex and large-scale Global Supply Chain Related Projects.
    Strong business analysis skills, including communication, listening, analytical mindset, creativity, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    Ability to resolve issues of a highly complex and strategic nature.
    Capability to maintain a high-level view of the project while being hands-on and detail-oriented when necessary.
    Proactive self-starter with a strong focus on delivery.
    Proven ability to relate and respond to business needs in an IT environment.
    Ability to manage expectations and solutions across complex groups.
    Desirable for the roleAbility to work well in and across diverse global teams.
    Ability to partner and work in a matrix organisation.
    Knowledge of the SAP Config and build processes.

    S/4 and wider SAP application roadmap as it is relevant to your line of business and the ability to translate that roadmap in to the AZ strategic view.

    High level awareness of developments in the Information Technology marketplaceStrong organizational and process design skillsComfort with ambiguity and the ability to operate independently.

    An understanding of the supply chains within AstraZenecaGood knowledge of Agile and Design Thinking approaches.

    Outcome-focused mindset, taking personal responsibility for delivering results while embracing change and utilizing a growth mindset to focus on client outcomes.
